How is an ESA defined in Colorado?

Getting Your ESA Letter

The only real requirement for an ESA in Colorado is a certified ESA letter. Although, there are specific requirements for the letter itself. The ESA letter must be by a licensed professional. Even in various states, you should ALWAYS make sure your ESA letter is coming from a proven licensed professional. The doctor or other licensed mental health provider must also provide their full professional name, medical license number, the date of the letter and the state that they obtained the license in.
