With an ESA letter, your animal companion can officially qualify as an emotional support animal (ESA). ESA owners have special rights when it comes to housing and on certain airlines. Under federal law, the only legitimate way to have an ESA is to obtain a recommendation letter (known as an ESA letter) from a licensed health care professional. Despite what you may have read and heard, you cannot qualify an ESA with registration, license, vest or ID card. American Service pets is a technology company that advocates for emotional support animal owners and helps connect clients to real licensed health care professionals. We are proud of our mission to help people suffering from mental and emotional issues, especially those that are having trouble finding a therapist in person or have limited financial means.

It’s free to complete the online exam. Find out in a few minutes if you likely qualify for your Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Certified Letter. The proprietary questionnaire developed allows you to quickly and easily determine if you’re a candidate for an ESA Certification Letter.
Once you complete the free online exam you can decide if you would like us to match you with a licensed Dr in your state to further review your file and give his/her final approval and authorization. If you choose to submit your results to a Doctor for review you will have your ESA Certification Letter sent directly to your email for download. Dr’s are on standby and most reviews are conducted in just a few minutes.
If you choose to add your pet’s profile to the American Service Pets International directory you will be sent a link along with your Certified ESA Letter via email. The new law is not a ban. It is simply stating that airlines are no longer required to accept ESAs. Now airlines have the option to decide whether or not they want to accept them at their discretion. Individual airlines will set their own policies regarding whether or not they will continue to accept ESAs in the cabin.
Good question. Because this is a fairly new ruling and airlines are still making their announcements, we highly recommend you call the airline to verify their ESA policies prior to booking.
Housing laws regarding accommodations for ESA owners have not changed. Therefore, you may continue to utilize your ESA letter for your housing needs.
Most airlines are honoring ESAs for flights booked prior to January 11th. Each airline has its own policies with regards to how long they will honor the exception.
