We understand and acknowledge that ID cards are not required by the ADA and that this can be a concern for some within the community. However, since our founding, we have held an unwavering commitment to helping those who struggle with mental illness cultivate a lifestyle that aids in their disability and makes their day-to-day easier. In consulting our customer base and others within the ESA/PSA community, ID cards are a quick and easy way to identify that a dog has their doctor letter, is trained, and meets the psychiatric needs of the handler. Holding these ID cards helps mitigate questioning and confusion by businesses and individuals as PSA holders navigate daily life.
